my first three panels comic strip

My First Three-Panel Boxing Comic: Wriothesley’s Victory! 1. Why Did I Start Drawing? I’ve always admired boxing illustrations, but I never seriously tried drawing one myself—until now! This is my very first attempt at a three-panel comic, and I wanted to challenge myself by capturing the intensity of a boxing match in just a few frames. Since I’m still experimenting with comic-style storytelling, I had one goal in mind: Wriothesley must win! As a fan of his character, I wanted to depict his strength and resilience in the ring. --- 2. The Creation Process To bring this scene to life, I followed a simple step-by-step process: Step 1: Draft Sketch I started with a rough draft sketch to lay out the composition of the panels. This helped me decide the poses, perspectives, and overall flow of the comic. Since it was my first attempt, I focused on keeping things dynamic and readable. Step 2: Final Pencil Sketch Once I was satisfied with the draft, I moved on to the final pencil sketch on a f...

Chibi

So, today, I decided to draw a Chibi and this is the first character drawn. By using a combination of black and dark brown, I was able to create this character. Actually, this is a character from Genshin Impact, named Wriothesley. Among all Genshin characters, I chose this character. His cool expression and fox ears are one of the reasons why I drew this character. Also, due to his fighting style.

I used a 1:2 proportion, but maybe the picture is too detailed >.<. Yep, yes, this is my first time drawing so it looks a bit stiff in terms of expression. Actually, I wanted to make the expression that Wriothesley was angry because he was too hot X). With the sweetener in the form of sweat. But that's okay! I can practice again on this part. Back to proportions. I decided to use a 1:2 proportion because I wanted a cute picture and didn't spend a lot of time.

I used simple, but graded basic colors. Using black as a base color is my favorite. combines black, dark and light gray, gold, yellow and light blue. These colors are what make it fun. Apart from that, his fierce expression also adds additional points. He is characterized as having eyebrows that tend to be thin (for me) and not as thick as those of the red Oni, Itto. But, his eyes were full of light.

The challenging thing in drawing this character is drawing the pose. The pose I got requires rotation of the shoulders and maybe also the waist. Stomach and waist with the slightly raised left hand holding it like lowering a tie. Wriothesley has the ice element or what is called Cryo, using his boxing gloves. Still waiting to see what Wriothesley's character is like. But it looks like it will be fun!
